I have this little problem with IE where the browser doesn't open but the process iexplore.exe shows up in the Task Manager. I can keep trying to open IE but all that does is create more iexplore.exe processes. The only way I can get IE to open is if I kill the process(es) and try again (repeating multiple times if necessary).

I'd like to try and avoid formatting if possible.

I normally use Firefox but sometimes things just don't work in it so I'm forced to use IE. :frown:

Have you checked for a virus or spyware/adware/malware?

Yeah, I run Kaspersky and have run scans with Spybot, AdAware, & MS AntiSpyware and nothing has shown up.

For a quick possible solution, install avant brower or maxthon to see they will function normally (both are based on IE).
