Internet Explorer not showing PNG image files?

Every time I update my TNT2 video driver, IE stops showing PNG files.... Instead it shows a little square with a red cross in it, as if this kind of file wasn´t supported! What can I do to make it work again?

under advanced in internet options do you have show pictures checked under the multimedia section??

Yes! As I said, it shows every image but PNGs...

mine is doing this too... i can't figure it out... i thought it was just ie 4.0 that didnt support them hmmm
