Internet Explorer/Netscape lockups

Hello,

I recently installed my new motherboard/processor/graphics card, and is as follows:
ASUS A7V
Thunderbird 850 @ 1000
ASUS V7700 GeForce2GTS (@Normal Speed)

I have a kickass PAL cooler on it, and I know for a fact temperature isnt a problem because I can play quake3 for an extended period of time, and run rc5 all night without any problems. The temp never gets above 45.

However, when im just surfing the web... with EITHER internet explorer or netscape, my computer locks up. It does it very randomly - and it doesn't make much sense. Any suggestions?

We recently updated our system - A7V motherboard, Asus V6600 GeForce256 graphics card, Duron 600 - and there were endless freezes on the internet (IE). This was solved, except for when trying to print from the net, by updating drivers. Printing from the net was solved by moving the modem to a different slot. We still have graphics problems - now motion is jerky - and it seems there's a problem with VIA chipsets and the GeForce cards. But I'm hoping there's a solution, as I did get everything working perfectly for a week at one stage (with the Detonator3 drivers).
