Internet explorer isn't working correctly.

I know that no one has responded yet, but I was able to figure out the problem.

Every attempt to reinstall internet explorer was fruitless, cipher strength was still saying nothing, version was still saying nothing and websites were not working correctly.

Until I tried to install itunes and it did not work because it said vb script was being blocked or not installed. I installed VB script that I downloaded from MS and after that IE has all the correct info in about and websites work properly.
