Hello all, I am running windows xp pro w/ SP2 and Internet Explorer 6.0.2 all of which is fully updated off the Microsoft website.
Here is the problem, probably a simple answer but I sure can't find it, when I have a browser open (say microtrends housecall and I let that run in background in open browser) and I then open a new browser and surf the web or whatever....
When I click any link in the 2nd open browser that link I clicked opens in the first browser window - closing my housetrend scan or whatever page I had open in first browser.
This has always bugged me when I have one window open doing something (say having it open to a newegg site for a product) then opening a new window on another site (to compare) once I click within that second browser on any link it opens the new page in the first browser I had open.
I want IE6 to open a 3rd 4th 5th browser window everytime I click a link, and leave the ones I had open alone.
Is there a setting within IE6 that I can check or do to make this happen?
Sorry for what is probably a very simple question but I can't seem to figure it out.
Bill
