I have a problem where when I connect to my DSL (Bellsouth) and load internet explorer, every time I load a new web page internet explorer "freezes" for about 30 seconds -- during this time I cannot click on anything or do anything in IE, but I can click on my start menu and load other programs. The problem seems to be solely associated with IE. I tried updating to IE 6.0 to no avail. Next stop is reinstalling Windows. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I had similar problem w/ IE5. Tried various things, nothing worked. Got tired of it all, went w/
Netscape 6.2 no troubles. Alien is right in what he is saying. Increase the swap disk size and
make sure your history and IE caches are emptied regularly, it might help. The real problem is that
IE is a memory hog
