Internet Explorer crashes when I open a new window and type in the address bar too fast?

This is bothering and confusing the hell out of me. When I open a new internet explorer window and start typing into the address bar without giving the home page some time to load, I get the report and error crap and the window closes when I hit report or don't report. If I leave that window open, I can still use the browser, but that's just stupid.

My home page is yahoo.com. If I set it to blank, I don't have any problem. What the hell can be wrong? Hopefully nothing malicious

I have that problem if i open IE and hit stop at just the wrong time.


had it for years. multiple systems, multiple formats...same problem. I use MSN as my home page for IE. Using firefox doesnt have the problem, but i know some people are partial to one or the other.

I refuse to use IE7 for the bugs and attacks against it.
