Internet Explorer crashes when I LOOK at an embedded video online

I was struggling with the same thing I rolled back WMP from 10 to 9 (using Add/Remove programs & placing a check mark on "show update" reveals WMP10, for you to rollback) and then for kicks and giggles did the add/remove programs Windows components, to remove WMP9 (I think this only removes the shortcuts, but doesn't uninstall anything) and now I can view the streaming media.

It didn't work immediately, but when I saw your post, and followed the link, it worked. So I checked the sites I was having trouble with again, and it played the clips without crashing.

I'm not sure if rolling back or the pretend uninstall was the solution, but it's fixed now.

GoodLuck/HaveFun

edit: Belay my last. It's gone back to crashing without reason. I changed nothing, and it stopped working agian.
