Internet Explorer "clicking noise"

How the F do you make IE not make a clicking noise everytime you click on something.. IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE!

Go into control panel, then sounds, then look for Windows Start or something along those lines. You'll have to play the sound to make sure that's the one. Then in the drop down box just select none.

Yup - under the Explorer section; Complete Navigation is what it's called. Disable that, and you should be good.
