Internet Explorer cannot be accessed

I'm using 56K and when i connect, AIM works fine but the internet explorer doesnt. My startup page is yahoo but when i click on the links on the yahoo page, the page "Cannot find Page" pops up. any help would be appreciated. i tried disconnecting and reconnecting, it still happens.
 
This is strange.

Go to Start > Run > Command

Type cmd

Type ipconfig /all

Make sure you have an IP and the DNS server is there.
