Question about Internet Explorer 7 that I recently installed. The "home" button has moved to an inconvenient location. I prefer it where it used to be next to the URL box. Anyone know how to change that? Why don't they at least offer an option to place these things in a location for people that were happy with IE6, at least for the time being!

Thanks.

All I know as far as menu changes is the Right-Click->Menu Bar option, which just adds the original classic File, Edit, View, etc. menu's back. You're not the only one to be displeased with the new GUI though. I'm sure someone is working on a skin or some type of 'fix' to set it back.

You can get it closer to where it used to, i.e., right under - if you turn off tabbed browsing. Life is a bunch of trade-offs. Actually, it only takes a couple of days to be retrained. :)

Very good! It makes a registry change that moves the toolbar down so it is right above the "Home" icon and others. Thanks for that!

Glad you liked it .. It can also remove the extra built in IE7 Search Box
if you use Google Toolbar like I do which has it's own search box
