Internet Explorer 7 beta 2 refresh as of March 20, 2006

Hasn't IE7 beta 2 been available for a while? I've been running it for over a month.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that... I use Firefox 1.5.0.1 but I've got IE7 beta 2 installed. 😉

Beta 2 preview was released in January. There was a refresh/updated version of the browser which was released on 3/20. So yes it's been out a while but this browser is brand spanking new as far as updates and code goes.

Nice!! I've been patiently waiting for the next public preview to fix some of the code. IE7 completely rocks, and I've used it even with it's flaws as a beta so far.

EDIT: Just installed the 3/20 edition, and it looks like this one has fixed a lot of the bugs with the joomla cms that I have been experiencing. Nice!

Hopefully it will also fix the re-occuring disappearance of the favicons (more of an annoyance than something I actually care about).

Can IE7 be installed independently? I still need to test websites on IE6..

In the original thread a while back someone posted a link to a way of installing the IE7b2 as a 'standalone' browser but others warned of problems in doing so. I didn't try it.
