IE7 basically looks like a copy of firefox not a suprise.

Firefox > IE7

if you want to update using windows update get ie tab and when you go to microsoft.com it opens it in an ietab you can put certain websites on the list.

Apart from the tabs, I hate it. A lot of the features I use frequently are hidden away, as if to discourage you from using them. It also screws up Google Toolbar and EA Downloader, and links on some websites just stopped working.

Crap. Uninstalled.

Not at all.

Quick tabs, the new favorites menu, also works as a file browser (really cool having that age-old IE feature in tabs). Not to mention its IE, so its going to work with every page right, the first time. Its also much faster than stock FF. Much faster then IE6 even.
Opera compares to IE7, but FF doesnt.

It is VERY buggy though. I'm getting moments of freezing now and then, and Fusetalk is missing the quick post at the bottom. There's no flash block as i can see, so now i have flash ads again :(

But if they allow extensions and such, i can really see myself using this!
Does it work with Google Toolbar? I use it for blocking popups and autofill. TIA.

Man I tried that FireFox crap and it wouldn't load half my pages when I'd click on links. I bring up IE and they come up instantly. Try FF again and still no go. Junk.

I don't know, like I've said before I can't get excited about a browser. I'm using IE6, no problems. Yes, I currently have about 10 IE icons in my taskbar. Until someone shows me that a tabbed browser is actually more convenient, I'm cool with IE, and 6 until I know that 7 supports Google Toolbar.

Is this just me?

When I run a search from the newly incorporated search feature (Google is my default), it wont open in its own tab, but rather load up in the current tab I am working in, therefore making me have to press the back button after viewing the Google results. I would much rather type in my search string in the top right search box, hit enter and a new tab open up with the Google search results, much like opening up a new link with a new tab opening to display the page.

Is this possible? I did check pretty much all the options, or atleast I thought I did, and I couldn?t find a solution.

Can anyone help me on this?

Also is there a way to open Word in IE, as in, within one of the tabs?

Cool I need to test it's CSS2.1 features. Hopefully they at least have the major ones coded up by now.

CPM had nifty stuff, and Microsoft bought their project.
Apple had nifty stuff, and Microsoft crapped out a GUI clone.
Apple updated their nifty stuff, and Microsoft crapped out an unstable OS.
Sun Microsystems had nifty stuff, and Microsoft tried to crush their language.
Netscape had nifty stuff, and Microsoft crapped out a clone.

Firefox has nifty stuff, and by very nature of Microsoft's history, I'm not touching their clone.

I think the automated installer of HP comes with a different serial than the serial on the authentic sticker on the machine. You might want to check the config file on the disc, if you have it.

Could you give me some of those links? I'm running FF 1.5.0.1, and I have ZERO problems. It's a lot faster than IE or Opera because I use the extension FasterFox.

I didn't see enough new options to pull me off Maxthon. Rendering wouldn't be such a problem if people would follow a standard, ie xhtml 1.0, etc.

Is anyone else having issues installing this? I validate just fine but then it hangs at 50% and gives me a stupid msfeeds.dll error!

IE7 messed up the help system in Visual Studio 2005. I had to uninstall it.

I have problem viewing the "History".
Tabs (today, yesterday, etc) do not open at all.
Does anyone else have the same issue?
