the only issue i have is how the tabs close. i dunno if i'm missing a setting but why, if my first tab is AT and i have a few other tabs open, when i click a link from AT and then close it does it bring me to a different tab? it should just close and go back to the AT tab.

its annoying enough that i'll stick with opera i guess.

I went back to FF. Just way too buggy for my taste atm, but once it's released or is stable, i'm definitely going to be using it full time (i've used it full time for the last few days).

I'm not ready to overwrite IE6 yet.....my usual browser is Firefox but Firefox doesn't always play well with Paypal or Paypal's printing of ship labels (in connection with Ebay sales). I need a functional IE for those tasks and have no desire to roll the dice on a beta.

Microsoft makes non-beta versions of software?!?

Phishing is people making fake pages that look like legit sites such as ebay, that ask you to input financial or other information to "verify" your account or something of that nature. Then when you submit, the information is sent to 'phisher' rather than the site in which you think you are sending to. Just a name attached to a concept I'm sure you are already aware of.

I suppose this is IE's way of attempting to filter this.

I would also agree that the new form of toolbar is a bit annoying, but I might get used to it..

FOUND THE FIX FOR msfeed.DLL

IT seems to be spysweeper and the AV. Which you do it not just turn it off, but make them not start up in msconfig or services.msc and than restart with them off. And IE7 should install fine.

How well does the java support work?
Has anyone tried a java app like runescape or something with the beta?

I have a few questions about the beta:

1. My text seems a bit fuzzy as compared to FF/Opera/IE6. Anyone else had these problems.

2. Are there any add-ons, especially a Download Manager or a Mouse Gestures one?

3. Is there a way to take buttons off the pre-existing toolbars or can you only edit the one custom one?

Using it now. Love it.
Best browser I've used. Cant wait to get ahold of the final. Nice to have an excellent MS browser that will render every page correctly like IE6.
(Former Opera user here. Never cared for FF at all)

Quick tabs rules. I love it in fullscreen when my widescreen is rotated to portrait mode.

It didnt play nice with wmp10 for me.
Installed IE7 and wmp10 (or 9) couldnt connect to the net.
Uninstalled IE7 and all was well.

I like it but I'll stick to opera for now.
