Internet explorer 6

Hi~!!

Can anyone tell me where can i download the full version of internet explorer 6? The reason i don't want to download the update from microsoft if because i want to burn it into cd ( so i need the full version).

You download the normal "update" from Microsoft's website and run the installer. When it comes to selecting the components, there is an option "download only" (in the "advanced" settings).
I've done it that way, and it works perfectly.

However, it appears that on some Win2k systems this "download only" option simply isn't there - don't ask me why...

Yes, that is a draw back of 2K, and yet another reason to keep a '98 box laying around.

maybe you can download the setup file, then use the /D switch to have it download the files to your local hd (i think).. or see the link below

not sure if it works with ie6 though, something confusing at this page (Installing over Windows 2000 release)

either way, you'll have to download the setup file first, which shouldn't be too much since it's about 500+k only

ms just wants to make money and make you buy their browser cd ... just use a different browser and you won't get into this kind of trouble
