Is there a way I can Disable the homepage on IE6. Right now I have it set to google.com and I want it remain at google at all time when I click home. Is there a way I can grey out that whole address line like at work (they have it set to their company homepage and noboy can change it).
I'm sick and tired of changing to back to Google after stumble throug some stupid site and accidently agree to have their homepage as my default.

thanks

Sure. Just open up /TOOLs, then \Internet Options. The home page setting is right there. It will be whatever you want it to be.

Sorry Nickyct,

I don't think what you are asking is possible, at work they probably have third party software monitoring and restricting internet access and settings to windows itself. I don't believe that you can change or restrict browser settings without using software like that.

Actually you could probably do it with the IEAK which is the IE Administration Kit. What you would be doing in essance is making your own customized version of IE6. Might be worth a shot.
