Internet Explorer 6 problem with downloading a page instead of opening for view

I have no idea why this suddenly happened (it never did before today), but when I try to go to some sites that I had frequented before, IE6 would instead prompt me to download the page as opposed to opening it for normal view in the browser. Any suggestions?
