Internet Explorer 6 & Anandtech Forums settings... Help please

Ok, so I upgraded from Win Me and IE 5.5 with SP2 to Win XP Pro and IE 6 with all security updates.

But now the folders in the forums never turn from blue/purple (new) to yellow (old) when I relog in to Anandtech Forums.

Before everytime I clicked my link (in favorite places) for these forums, only the new messages, since my last visit, were blue, now all of them are.

How do I fix this? Anybody?

What are you security settings set at in Internet Options? Sounds like something with cookies possibly

They were on customer, and that didn't do it. I reset them to medium, and that isn't any better.

I don't see anything about cookie there, what do I need to alter? It is set so that I am always logged into anandtech forums when I click my bookmark

Maybe you could tell me your settings?

You could try the following:

1. Goto Internet Options and delete the Cookies and the Temporary Internet Files
2. Goto Internet Options and Click the Programs tab. Click the `Reset Web Settings` button.
3. Set your homepage back to whatever it was, then load up anandtech, login to the forums, remember to set it to save the login information.
4. Close Internet Explorer, restart your computer.. see if it is working or not.
