Internet Explorer 6.0 randomly closes

I'll just be surfing the web and IE 6.0 will just randomly close on me. Does anyone know why it does this? The only thing I could think of was spyware so I've run adaware but IE still does this. Anyone have any solutions?

I use AVG Free Edition version 7.0.323 and it is updated.

Try this for a second opinion on the possibility of a virus, and you might try the latest version of Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta too.

Also, you might check the system's Event Viewer logs to see if anything weird is showing up in there. Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
