Hey all,

When I was using IE 5.0, I remember that it would always "remember" certain fields I had already typed in. For example, if I would go to Mapquest and start to type in the street address 555 Notareal St. after typing in 555, a list of matches that I had previously typed would come up. Anyone know what I am talking about? Is so, is there a way to turn this feature on in IE 6.0?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Action

Open IE. Go to Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab and under browsing put a check next to Use inline Auto Complete.

Is this feature secure though? I've never really trusted having my passwords stored on my computer, especially since it's Microsoft.

I'm the same way and that is why I don't use it. Too many people have access to my computer and I don't want them getting into my personal stuff.
