That's right. :D Because my first Internet experiences were with GNN which came with Netscape and I'm a frequent Linux user, IE exposure for me has been far and few between.

Now I'm using XP 64-bit and I'm trying to get comfortable with just using the IE included with the OS, but I don't like how CTRL-N opens up a new browser window with the same content as the current browser.

Other browsers give you a NEW BROWSER when you CTRL-N. Is there any way I can change IE to open up a new browser with no content or, at the most, my Home Page when I hit CTRL-N?

LOL!

I do prefer Firefox... but right now I'm using IE.

So I guess there's no way to do it in IE?

Hmm....

Guess I'll have to install Firefox again after all.

I was just thinking... I could actually LIVE with IE if I could just get a new browser window on a CTRL-N. I guess the CTRL-N is going to be my "IE user" make or break. :D

You could get a shortcut program that would intercept the ctrl-n and open up a new window. Or do what I do, put an IE shortcut on the taskbar and make it so it opens your home page. Or make ctrl+alt-n open up your home page.
