My verizon DSL connection is very unreliable, with random disconnects all the time, but that is another story another thread. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what would happen if I purchase a game from the Playstation store and while in the process of downloading my internet disconnect's? Can I cancel the download and try again? Or is there sometype of process that only allows a download once?

You see, I plan on buying Cryisis off PSnetwork today but at 4 GB, I'm a little hesitant because I am unfamiiar with the process of buying and downloading games from the playstation store, not to mention that the chances of a disconnect during the download is quite high.

Anyone care to enlighten me here?

I believe that if it disconnects, you can just turn on the ps3 when it reconnects and it will pick up where it left off. Also, you can go into your account management and go to download history I believe and view all the things you have downloaded.

I beleive you can download a game to a given console as many times as you like. You're limited to downloading the game to five different consoles, but you can deactivate consoles from your account to activate others if necessary.

Ok guys, so the way I'm understanding it, once that "Buy" or "purchased" button is pressed and the transaction is complete, then I own that game, regardless of wheter I have downloaded it fully or not yet, is that correct?

Yeah. And you can continue to download later. I do that at times. I will start something in the morning and then finish it at night. Just turn the ps3 back on when you have a connection and it will pick up from where it left off.
