When I had road runner, my internet would stop working randomly. I would be surfing the forums and then I go to a new page and the page will just not load. AIM and MSN stops working. No internet connection is detected. I recieve no packets back when I ping yahoo.
To resolve this, I just restarted the computer and my internet is back. At first I thought it was my router, but even right from the cable modem my internet cuts out. And now, I find out that it even cuts out from dial up. So I know forsure it's my computer that is doing this. I've looked through all my Events but I don't know if the problem is in there. I see some alerts like "TPS started" then like 10 minutes later "TPS disconnected" just stuff you would see in the Events. What is weird is that when I'm playing Natural Selection, my internet never seems to disconnect on me even after like 2 hours of playing. But when I surf the web, it disconnects on me after a brief while. It seems like if I'm watching a video clip for like 10 minutes, then try to go to the next clip, I will go to find out that my internet had stop working. It's just so annoying and this just started happening when I burnt my Soyo and got an Asus P4P800 to replace it.
O yeah, sometimes, my browsers would just close on me. :Q
And there's the occasional Firefox errors asking me to give them feedback and all that crap which I lose all the sites I'm looking at. And sometimes my bookmarks would disappear.
I JUST WANT SOMETHING STABLE AND THAT WORKS! THAT'S ALL I ASK!
