internet connection sharing problem

I have two computers at my house networked by a DLINK hub. I have internet connection sharing working. But there are certain things i cannot do for some reason on one of the computers. Some of the things I cannot do include sending email attachments and going to various websites such as columbiahouse.com, houston.sidewalk.com and my college website. The werid thing is that if i go to the computer that acually connects the network to the DSL I can send email attachements as well as connect to these websites. I have been battling with this for about three weeks, if anyone has any idea what is going on please let me know. By the way I have Win 2k on both computers. Thanks

is your second computer pointing to the correct dns servers? is it just those websites that you cant get to or all websites? what "can" you do with the machine that is having problems?
