Internet connection sharing on a LAN

What problems if any would this cause on a fairly large LAN? I understand that ICS basically just uses my PC to NAT using a 192.168.x.x address.

If you really do have a fairly large LAN, you definitely need a router. ICS is designed to share a connection with a FEW other devices on a small home network that does not need a router, but it really won't work well with a significant number of devices.
