Internet connection problem

For some reason I cannot connect to the internet. I have a cable modem and my ISP is Roadrunner. I also run Windows XP. Whenever I try to use any browser I can't get to any sites.
 
nvm. Somehow my connection got disabled in my network connection in control panel. I have no idea how that happened but it is fixed now.
