Internet Connection dies on me

I'm using a connection on campus and after awhile, my connection dies on me. Between 20-60 minutes, it'll just die. I have to reboot in order to have my internet working. I am using Win2K. thanks
 
when you reboot your connection is restored?

have you tried going to the network connections control panel, disabling that network and then tried to reenable it?

have you reinstalled or updated your NIC drivers?

are you using any kind of router or hub or anything?
