internet browser not working properly nor is windows updates

after i boot my comp i can use mozilla firefox for like 5 min, and then it wont connect to anything. all games and instant messengers work fine, only that isnt working.

also, every now and then when im moving my mouse around it just jutts back to the center of the screen for no apparent reason.

any ideas?
 
no its not spyware, that was the first thing i tried, and thats all everyone is telling me, but i ran both spybot and adaware so i know its not that. ive:

reinstalled mozilla and IE
repaired xp
uninstalled ethernet drivers
reinstalled ethernet drivers
released/renewed ip
uninstalled SP2
reinstalled SP2

i just dont get it
a7n8x-e dlx any similar probs from this mobo maybe?
