Hello!
Any help with this perplexing problem would be greatly appreciated...I've got one of our salesmen chewing amazing new holes in my arse...
The computer is a Gateway Solo Laptop. Our network is Small Business Server 4.5 and running NT4 with Proxy 2.0 and a Novell Netware 4.11 server. He turned his laptop on one day and it logged into the network with no hitches. Ran the server based log in scripts along with the Netware login scripts. He can browse the network neighborhood and everything else, EXCEPT... he can not get to the internet. I checked his connections under internet options.
Reinstalled Proxy 2.0. Reinstalled TCP/IP. Still nothing. Tried pinging the server from the command prompt (in a DOS Prompt box)and no dice. But, pinging any one of the other workstations gets replies!
This has confused and perplexed me for a week. Any help from any one out there would be GRAND!!!
