i've got a POS winmodem that works fine in w98se. but something doesn't work in w2k. i've triple checked all my settings etc., the modem dials and says it's connected, but i can't get Nutscrape or IE5 to "see" any pages. type in a site addy, it thinks about it for a while and then says it can't find the site. it's like it can't see out from my machine. but if i pop over to w98se everything works fine. i'm just starting with w2k adv. svr. and would appreciate any ideas. thnx,
