I personally don't deal with int. buyers on ebay. If its here in the FS/FT forum I usually take PP or money order.

A lot of misinformation here, anyway, WU = Cash, if he is paying you via WU in advance, no problem, go to a WU location, fill out the form with the info he gives you, collect cash, ship item😀

On the other hand if he wants you to pay with WU, tell him to get lost, WU = Cash, he will have cash, you will have nothing.

What type of WU? They have money orders and money transfers. You can't really get scammed off an instant transfer..go to a WU place, receive the payment..cash the check, and you're done.

Now..if he wants to pay a few grand over your asking price, and wants the difference sent back to him via WU..that's another story altogether. 😛

i dont get how it can be a scam if its a money transfer to you, but i can sure see it if you send WU to them though. I thought the "sending more money than its worth" scam was fake cashiers checks? Is there such a thing as a WU check? Seeing as you dont bank with WU if they cash it over the counter for you thats their fault, not yours if it isnt real.

It's not a scam. People in foreign countries wire money all the time, it's a standard way of doing business. I always accept WU and Moneygrams as there are 0 fees for me, no chance of any chargeback, and convenient locations to pick up the cash.
