the funny part is that the guy used that widely known thing to fool the scammer.

Listen buddy, the whole point of this was to "get" one of the Nigerian scammers. Using that <insert your own caption here> website to generate the photo was part of the genius of what he did. If you are too dim to realize that, I refer you to my previous post.

I totally see that part now!!! I just happend across the site to make your Iragi kid hold up a sign...and thought maybe this whole this was just a dupe on us...but, I see what the author is doing now...still doesn't mean that you guys need to be jerks about it...I never once said anything derogatory...but as soon as I try to make a comment I got slammed by the Lifers!! This is what I get for posting in Off Topic..then you guys can have it!!

If your skin is that thin, then yes, it's probably best to stay out of OT. But you really didn't get "slammed" at all. Sheesh. I would love to be around the first time you encounter Red Dawn. Relax a little. It was your hyperbolic reaction that really set things off.

Agreed. Quite frankly, I interpreted your bolded "I think you were scammed" as condescending and rude, doubly so since it seemed to me you had not actually read the entire story.

in short:

They convince you that they need your bank account info so they can wire you HUGE sums of money. Then they empty your account.
