Standard procedure. The Intl versions get the update first, the US versions have to go through carrier approvals first. We'll see it around February.

I'm curious what's going on with S Voice now that Google's new voice search and Google Now are in Jelly Bean. Is S Voice totally gone or being used as a different front-end for Google voice search or what?

Even without US carriers in the middle, realize that the US versions use different hardware. That ALONE means that Samsung has it as second class treatment and that different devs are working on it, etc. Your main model always gets first class treatment.

Why else do you think I've been speaking out so much about fragmented hardware? It's great that Samsung has gotten away from totally different external hardware for the US versions, but the next step is to see if we can have a unified LTE chipset.

yeah heard about that a while ago. so Verizon should get it sometime in june..of 2014

Just root cell,it takes 3 min and install custom recovery and you will never have to wait for Verizon to push the update again.

We should have a leak for Verizon soon!
