For those who aren't using Skype or Messenger...

First Phone Card is running a sale on a few of their cards until 8/23 (they're extending the sale that was suppose to end on 8/16). They're selling $25 and $20 credits for $16. Link

I've been using this Web site's cards for about three years. I've found that the Miss You Phone Card is the best for my calling habits. It's $25 of credit, lasts for 90 days, rounds up in 1min increments, no maintenance or connection fees or "tax". The rates for this card are here. It's one of the cards on sale for $16.

The regular price on this card (without the sale) is usually around $18.50 (prices move around all the time).

I guess it depends on how often you call and for how long. Mobile caller also adds a 10-15% "tax" onto each call. The rates below are on a "per minute" basis.

Mobile Caller Mobile Asia plan:
Philippines: 10¢
Philippines - Cell : 12¢
· 3 minute Rounding
· No Connection Fee
· 99¢ weekly fee
· 15% tax added to each call

Mobile Caller Mobile Clear plan:
Philippines: 16¢
Philippines - Cell : 20¢
· 1 minute Rounding
· No Connection Fee
· No monthly fee
· 10% tax added to each call

First Phone Card Miss You card:
Philippines: 13.6¢
Philippines - Cell : 15.4¢
· 1 minute Rounding
· No Connection Fee
· No monthly fee
· 0% tax added to each call

Rates are lower, cards are better.
???

I'm guessing that it matters where you're calling. I mostly call Taiwan at a rate of 1.8¢ per minute. CleanAsia wants at least 3.1¢ per minute.

How do you qualify that CleanAsia's cards are "better"? Have you tried both, or were you just saying that?
