I'm looking for a chat app that can be used to:
1 - Allow internal office communication that's secure, and simple for non-techies. A useful feature would be to send messages to offline users, and logging.
2 - Also be able to integrate this app in a secure web-based interface so that clients can chat 1 on 1 with specific people in the company.
I like Jabber, but I don't know if it's possible to setup a web-based interface with it so that clients don't have to download a Jabber client. Any suggestions?
