Intermittent lockups with TNT2 Pro

My system used to be very stable. About a week ago I replaced the video card (nVidia Riva 128) with a TNT2 Pro and now I'm getting intermittent lockups. The new card is a Gigabyte GA-660+ which has a heatsink and fan on the front of the chip and a heatsink on the back of the chip. I am running the card at its default clock settings. I've tried using the Gigabyte driver, Detonator 2, and Detonator 3, but this has no effect on the intermittent lockup problem. My motherboard is a Chaintech 6ESA (Intel EX chipset, micro ATX) running a Celeron 533 with slocket adaptor. The power supply is 230W but that is more than enough for a micro ATX motherboard, only one hard drive, etc. Any ideas what could be causing this problem?

It could be a power issue still, anyway go Geforce FAQ I know it`s for Geforce cards but you can use most tips for the TNT cards as well, disable all video shadowing in bios, disable system bios cacheable,it`s possible the PSU,or motherboard might not be able to supply enough power to the card anyway did you remove the old Gigabyte driver first before using the Nvidia drivers?

Yes, I removed each driver before trying the subsequent one.

According to my motherboard manual, the on-board 3.3v regulator provides maximum 6 Amp current drive capability for AGP cards and memory modules, but I haven't been able to find the power requirements for the video card. Does anyone know?
