Interim TV for gaming advice

We are moving into a new house and the current setup for gaming won't work. I'm looking for a new tv that will be dedicated to gaming until the home theater is built. Need some suggestions on something in the 40-55" range that will be in an area with lots of ambient light during the day. My Yamaha receiver will handle HDMI switching and audio. I will be hooking up D*TV, PS4, XB1, Wii U and PC. Hope to stay under $1000.

i believe samsung and sony are the ones that are supposed to have less input lag than others. this is a good reference for gaming displays.

also if you are getting projector for your HT, i'd recommend looking into input lag for those as well. that was a major factor in me purchasing the projector i did because gaming was going to be big part of what it's used for.
