Intergra DTR 9.1 Price

Hey there,

I'm curious -- what do you guys think the current market value of an Intergra DTR 9.1 is? A family member of mine has one laying around at home that he's not using, but since it's a high end device I do want to give him some fair amount of compensation.

yeah you're right, it is pretty old. however, back in the day it was top of the line equipment. Though I'd be missing out on some newer audio codecs, it's not like the core amplifier technology has evolved that much in the past 10 years

i also know he takes care of his equipment... so the quality won't be an issue

Even with it being a nicer piece of equipment, not having HDMI, etc will really hurt the resale.
I kept my Yamaha RX-V2095 because of this reason.

The 9.9 also is about 8 years newer...

Not to mention nobody is going to buy that for $700.

Just to give him some ideas. I don't think the owner will let the 9.1 go for next to nothing, which is what it is worth 😀

AVSforums had a denon 4802 or so for $200 a little while back. Might be helpful

Yeah, I would say $300-$400. Depends on how generous you want to be with him, and how generous he wants to be with you. It is still a beast of a receiver, but no HDMI kills a lot of its value, not to mention that it's just old.
