I'm terrible at these things because I speed read subconsciously most of the time; I had to reread that twice beofer I spotted the ones in the linking words. I tend to read over linking words most of the time, the end result is that when I read a text, I can read it faster than 90% of people.
 
its not about intelligence, its about how you assamble words in your head. I got all the Fs in the word, but compretly missed out on the OFs.
English is not my native languge and i think i subconsciously drop out off the linkers leaving just the actual words that mean something.

English is my native language, and I did the same thing. I don't know if it's because of the linking words or because OF is pronounced OV that I skipped all the OFs.

i love the part at the end about the "human brain." what about the chipmunk brain? the walrus brain? the marmoset brain? how many fs would they see?

Where did I was a supergenius? I just said that I read faster than most people and that's what I thought was the reason. Maybe I'm not the only one that should be more meticulous when reading 😉
