Did you know there was a dinosaur named after Arkansas. An Arkanosaurus. . . really.

Did you know the Mississippian mound builders in the Arkansas region built a mound called Caokia whose base was larger than the great pyramid. The 13th century population of the city around the mound was not exceeded by any European city.

I'm having to take an Arkansas History class (long story) - so expect more tidbits in the future!
