I was looking at my online banking, and there are two things posted today... burger delight is the place I ate lunch wednesday.. 9.51 for food, then 2.73 afterwards for a milkshake
does anyone know what FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA means?

2/21/2003 POS Withdrawal BURGER DELIGHT 9.51
2/21/2003 POS Deposit FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA 2.73
2/21/2003 POS Withdrawal BURGER DELIGHT 2.73
2/21/2003 POS Deposit FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA 9.51

I also noticed this on my statement

2/17/2003 POS Withdrawal FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA 2.73
2/17/2003 POS Withdrawal FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA 9.51

I might have had the same food earlier this week, but I dont remember... I dont know what the hell "FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA" is, and if its the food i had earlier in the week, then why would it be deposited back? anyone have any ideas?

that FCIA might be a government thing, but I doubt it...

At least your acct wasn't spammed with 5-10 charges of 200 and up from one company. Begining of day, I had ~$1500 int he back, at the end, I had -$1200 including bank charges....i was PISSED.

this is off topic of the thread, but anyone else read "POS" as something other than "Point of Sale"?

POS is point of sale, someone had to use the card in a card reader there. Someon has a copy of your card. 🙁

burger delight is owned and operated by this old korean couple that my boss goes to church with 😛
hmmm

I dont think anyone could possibly have a copy of my card, but who knows?
it's a fairly new card (old one was eaten by the atm)
hmm pretty much always have it on my person
interesting...

The real question is why you ate $9.51 of burgers and fries, and then went back and got a $2.73 milkshake. Do you want to die young? Do you want to weigh 400lbs like the McD's kid?? 😛:Q

call your bank... the number should be on the back of your ATM card. They should be able to get to the bottom of this. 🙂

it was teriyaki and gyoza.... the restaraunt is burger delight & teriyaki
and I already said this place was run by an old korean couple... therefore it's kind of expensive... but it's the best damned teriyaki i've ever had
and the milkshake was to help get rid of the hotness from the HOT teriyaki 😛

Haha, if you wana paranoia, you've come to the right place.

I was standing twenty feet away from the machine and watched it eat the card... I was so pissed off 😛
and it was my banks atm, so it's not some wierd atm that is questionable

the lady at my bank said that it looks like there was an error when they originally charged the amount, like the system was offline or something, then they werent sure if it had gone through or not, so they credited it back and recharged

she said something about "FCIAS. ARROCHA FCIAS. ARROCHA CALLPANAMA PBPA" being the restaraunts bank, but I don't why an old korean couple would use a panama bank, when I'm sure there are plenty of korean banks they could use (the koreans I know would always use a korean service or product if they have a choice in the matter)

hmmm

Looks to me like they were just correcting an error.

Wait! Don't they charge me $$ when I make an error?

I wouldn't worry.
