Interesting, the ps3 is actually cheaper than the 360 when you add up the numbers

you need to read his post.

i wonder how many decades will it take before xbox can outsell ps in japan.
they've only sold a laughable 140k xbox360 units since launch at japan.
the first 100k ps3 units available in japan will sell out the first day.

are you crazy? PGR3 saints row.. Test Drive Unlimited.. Dead rising... and more starting to come now..

none of those games are system sellers though. I do agree with James3shin ... there is no must have or killer titles for the xbox360 IMO. there are some games that are fun and all, but if I had paid for my 360, at this point I would be pretty disappointed with it.

First here's a run down of the Xbox 360:

Xbox 360 Standard: $399.99
Gold Xbox Live Subscription: At least $49.99 (Likely more.)
Wireless Networking Adapter: $99.99
Second Wireless Controller: $49.99
Two Play and Charge Kits: $19.99 times two.
HD-DVD: $199*
Total: $839.94

That, of course, didn't include the High Def TV or any games.

So here's the best I can figure for the Playstation 3:

Playstation 3 standard: $599
PS3 Network Platform: Free
Wireless Networking Adapter: Built-in
Blu-ray player: Built-in
Second Wireless Controller: $49.99*
USB charge cables: Free
Total: $648.99

still getting a wii but still :)

That's only if I want all of that. for my purposes...

Xbox 360
$399.99 - system
$49.99 - extra wireless controller
Total: $450

or

PS3
$600 - system
$49.99 - extra wireless controller

I don't want a blue ray drive...wireless networking does nothing for me the way I currently have my system setup (and will likely continue to have it setup).

So for me, I save nearly $200 for a very comparable system I've had for a year once the PS3 comes out. I'm happy.
