Interesting take on the modular PSU concept

I saw this over at DriverHeaven and thought it was pretty interesting (the modular cables, that is -- not the performance or lack thereof of the PSU itself).

It's essentially a modular system that lets you extend the length of the modular cables by daisy-chaining together multiple extension cables. PSU cable extensions aren't exactly new, but the cabling system designed around the concept seems a bit uncommon.

This seems geared towards those people who are constantly posting questions about whether their PSU cables are long enough for a particular chassis (which incidentally seem to Antec case users more often than not...).

They might want to look into those issues with the PSU shutting itself down though ...

I'd rather just have a PSU with long enough cables than have a PSU which I need to buy cable extensions for.

Reminds me of the enermax liberty, that required extending cables to get a full set at times. I don't consider it a good solution in most circumstances as a long enough cable would be best to minimize the number of different connection points. Also I find the better cases have ways of hiding cables that are a bit too long, so that is rarely a major problem.
