Interesting SSD problem...OCZ and Sandisk

At one time I was setting up a coumputer for dual boot with an OCZ SSD. So i manged to get both Windows 7 and Linux Mint setup on 1 SSD and all was fine. After I decided to remove Linux so I deleted the partition from windows and was preparing to run fix mbr at the next reboot. Funny when the MB was detecting the drives at initial power on it would hang when trying to detect the SSD. Stuck solid at that point. I was thinking the SSD was now borked. Tried the same thing on a Sandisk and the same result. So as a last resort I put the SSD in an external enclosure and I was able to format the SSD thru Windows again. I was lucky as both SSD's responded to the format and nothing was borked after all. 😎
