I didn't read every last bit of it, but most of it. I've made the exact same discovery on my own, I just didn't find it to be quite the epiphany that that guy did. I didn't analyze it quite as far as he did either. Specifically it was when one of the bridges around here was being worked on and I was crossing it somewhat often. I got annoyed with stop go stop go stop go so I just crept along slow and steady with some space between myself and the person in front of me. Honestly if someone was stuck in traffic jams often and DIDN'T realize this, I would think they were stupid or something. As tempting as it is to keep right on the ass of the car in front of you, when that causes you to have to brake suddenly and often, little lightbulbs should start going off in your head.
