Interesting sight today (no pun intended)

While at Churchill Downs today, I noticed several blind people there. It was apparently a sort of special outing as there were quite a few and they had nametags.

Just struck me as odd. They must have had people reading the racing form/tip sheet and telling them the odds on the various horses and I guess they could hear the horses as they crossed the finish line but just seems the experience is just not quite a full one.

Oh...and a stupid thing I saw while there. Apparently, a couple of blind women were asking a guy for directions to something so what's he do? Well, as he points he says, "Oh, it's down there." 😕

i work with a blind guy

he does a lot of "normal" stuff that you might not expect

i always forget he is blind and do stuff like gesture or point, he doesn't mind, he has a really good attitude about it all
