While at Churchill Downs today, I noticed several blind people there. It was apparently a sort of special outing as there were quite a few and they had nametags.
Just struck me as odd. They must have had people reading the racing form/tip sheet and telling them the odds on the various horses and I guess they could hear the horses as they crossed the finish line but just seems the experience is just not quite a full one.

Oh...and a stupid thing I saw while there. Apparently, a couple of blind women were asking a guy for directions to something so what's he do? Well, as he points he says, "Oh, it's down there."
