1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks
than the British or Americans.

2. On the other hand, the French eat a lot of fat and also suffer
fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.

3. The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart
attacks than the British or Americans.

4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and also suffer
fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.

5. Conclusion: Eat & drink what you like..........................

It's speaking English that kills you.

Americans just live their lives fuller than other countries do. We have so much fun that our hearts just seem to wear out faster. It has nothing to do with what you eat.

Red wine has often been thought to have anti-oxidants in it, which reduces the heart attack risk.

But if you really wanna know why Americans die of heart attacks, I suggest commuting in Chicago, LA, NY, or DC - THEN you know.

There are three types of fat: (1) Healthy, (2) Average, and (3) Extremely Unhealthy.

American law currently forces two groupings on the label:
A: (1) and (3) a mixture of healthy and unhealthy fats
B: (2) the "average" fat

Americans have unfortunately been taught that group A is better than group B. So what should food manufacturers do? They try hard to turn all group B fat into group A fat. Unfortunately the technology that is used turns the average fat (2) into the unhealthy fat (3). Then Americans think they are getting something more healthy since it is in group A. When in fact, they are eating the most unhealthy fat possible.

Most of the rest of the world either doesn't have the uninformed population thinking that group A is always better or they don't have the stupid law that groups the healthy fat in with the unhealthy fat. Thus food makers in other countries have no incentive to make the unhealthy fat. Thus they can eat more fat and have fewer heart troubles.

The French also eat a lot more vegetables than the British or Americans.

Just to be safe though, I think I'll study up and improve my French. :)
