I'm in Riverside, California, and I have an interesting request. I received a brand new 8800GTX for Christmas from a relative. My current computer is a Dell Dimension 8250 AGP, so I can't utilize it with that computer. I have ordered a new PC, but it's not going to be here for a while, and I'm impatient and want to see what this thing can do.

Anyone in SoCal want to meet up with me and install this bad boy on their rig to see what it can do? PM me or respond here if interested...

Although I do live in So Cal (San Gabriel), parents are out to Vegas 😀! I still can't drive anyways, 😛

Heheheh. Yeah, I'm lucky. I have a really cool (and wealthy) brother-in-law who hooks me up with pretty awesome stuff just about every year. And no, I don't currently attend U.C. Riverside, although I did back in the 80's. I'm actually an old dude (almost 40!), but I still love gaming. 🙂

Gone are the days when a simple snickers could lure anyone into your boarded up raper van. Now you have to use video cards for kids these days. Damn, it must get expensive for some people.

I meant to say that even though he's an adult, another wealthy adult gave him an 8800GTX when a working man like davidober could have bought it himself. I would usually think that teenagers receive those expensive gifts because they don't work or something. 😛

Maybe I'm just jealous...😀
