Yulonda King, Martin Luther King Jr's eldest daughter gave a lecture tonight at my school...it was pretty interesting, odd format (she was/is an actress and acted some scenes)

but at the end we asked questions and what not.

I asked her if she thought that in the general sense money is a problem in the sense of the socio economic ties with classes and elitism, when she used the story of two kingdoms (...2 kingdoms, one happy one sad, had food from different groups around world, had 10ft utensils though, happy group used together to feed each other) as the united states is a melting pot in reference to the kingdom story does she beleive we can truly be united because of our economy as a market capitalist and with the advent of globalization.

she responded with a story, she said there was a protestor at a nuclear power plant, he stood alone most days, some days there would be a couple others, mostly alone...but every day, someone asked him why he did this because he's not going to change anything...he responded

"I may not change the world, but I'm not going to let the world change me"

i thought it was a good quote.

nah ; ).

she just has hope people can rise above it. she spoke rather passionately about her father's dream.

I don't have a problem with the quote, but I'm having trouble making sense of your question and her answer. Perhaps I'm missing context...
